Permanent outdoor lighting is installed once and stays. The fixtures mount discreetly under the eave or along the roofline, they disappear against the trim in daylight, and they are yours to turn on whenever you want them. No ladders in December, no tangled boxes in the garage, and nothing to take down in January.
Most people come to permanent lighting for Christmas, and that is a fair place to start. Permanent Christmas lights are already on the house when the season arrives: you pick red and green from your phone in November and switch them off in January without going near a ladder. The difference from a seasonal install is that the same fixtures are still there in June.
Because the fixtures are color capable and fully programmable, one system covers the whole year. Warm white for an ordinary evening, so the house simply looks well lit rather than decorated. Orange for Halloween, your team's colors on a game night, a single accent color for a party, or nothing at all. Programmable scenes and schedules are set from your phone.
